1. What is a sleep suit?
A sleep suit is a wearable blanket designed to keep toddlers warm, safe, and comfortable throughout the night without the need for loose blankets.

2. What makes Biggie Smalls sleep suits different?
Our suits are made with high-quality, breathable materials that provide warmth without overheating. Designed for active toddlers, they allow movement while keeping them snug all night long.

3. Are your sleep suits warm enough for winter?
Yes! Our winter sleep suits are specially designed for chilly nights. They feature insulation and full-body coverage, ideal for South African winters.

4. Are they safe for sleep?
Absolutely. Our suits replace loose blankets, reducing the risk of suffocation and keeping your toddler covered and warm all night.

5. What sizes are available?
Currently, in our winter sleep sacks and suits we offer sizes for:

 

Age 1–2 years: Shoulder to ankle 74cm, chest 38cm, neckline to end of sleeve 37cm

Age 2–3 years: Shoulder to ankle 82cm, chest 40cm, neckline to end of sleeve 40cm

In our summer sleep sacks and suits we offer sizes for:

Age 0-6 months: Shoulder to hem 74cm (extra length to last longer), chest 33cm

Age 6–18 months: Shoulder to hem 92cm (extra length to last longer), chest 36cm

Age 18–36 months: Top Shoulder to ankle 78cm, chest 40cm 

 

6. How do I choose the right size?
Check our size chart (see below). For the best fit, measure your child’s height and chest. If in doubt, size up for comfort and room to grow.

7. What material is the sleep suit made of?
Our winter sleep sacks and sleep suits are made from soft, breathable cotton blend outer layers with gentle insulation inside to keep your child cozy without overheating.

Our summer sleep sacks and suits are made from premium bamboo cotton which is perfect for South African summers

8. Can my toddler walk in the sleep suit?
Yes! Our sleep suits have separate legs so your toddler can move freely — perfect for little ones who love to stand, walk, or crawl.

9. Are they machine washable?
Yes. Simply wash on a cold, gentle cycle and line dry. Do not tumble dry or iron the inner layer to preserve the insulation.

10. Can they be worn with other pajamas?
Yes! You can layer light pajamas underneath if needed, depending on room temperature.

11. What TOG rating are your sleep suits?
Our winter sleep suits are approximately 2.5 TOG, perfect for colder rooms between 16–20°C.

12. Do the suits have a zipper or buttons?
They feature a high-quality front zipper with a zip guard to protect your toddler’s skin and make for quick and easy changes.

13. Are they only for sleep?
Not at all! They’re great for lounging, pram naps, or chilly early mornings when you need something warm and cozy.

14. Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Yes, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the item is unused and in original condition. For sizing exchanges, we're happy to help!

15. Do you ship across South Africa?
Yes! We offer reliable, nationwide shipping. Delivery takes 2–5 working days depending on your location.
